Chen's Express - Lawndale Dr

Placed my order and got a phone call from Chen's saying they were out of green beans and could they substitute another vegetable. They could tell I was disappointed because my grandson can be a picky eater. So when Chen heard this, he went to the store, purchased green beans, brought them back to the restaurant, cooked them and brought our order to us just as we ordered! He went the extra distance to serve the meal we ordered. I will definitely give them much more business in the future. AND our meal was delivered within the estimated window! I should also say the food was awesome too! Thanks for the great experience!

Food came earlier then estimated. Some reviews mention how long they wait. I wonder if they are ordering during busy times like lunch and dinner time and on weekends which will naturally give you a longer wait time. Be patient it is worth it. We never had an issue with food being really late. An hour is average but most of the time it comes in 30- 40 mins. We have never had issues with the quality of food. We don't order Chinese food from any other place because we have had bad experiences with other places.

I ordered Hibachi filet and I am thoroughly impressed. Although it was not as good as an actual Japanese steakhouse the food was exceptionally good for delivery. My steak was cooked more well done than I had requested, but honestly I would have been surprised if I had actually received a steak via delivery, cooked a perfect medium rare. Estimated delivery time was 45 min. The driver was on time and very friendly.

Chen's is absolutely fantastic. They have great food, great staff, and are amazing to deal with. I always buy for myself and work friends. We could eat there 7 days a week for every meal. I can honestly say, I have tried many dishes there, and not one has been less than stellar. I really like talking to the managers too! Chen's is AWESOME!

The food was wonderful as is typical. We love their soup, Singapore Mei fun, lo mein, crab rangoon, and everything else we have ever ordered. This time they missed our second order of hot and sour soup and sent a new one back out right away.

After reading other reviews, I was concerned at how long delievry could take. I was impressed because it was here before the suggested time. The food was delicious!
